About the Artwork:
There's a good story behind this one. This was actually part of a class project when I was in a college color class. We had to illustrate, in five separate stages, a realistic picture to an abstract one. Well, this picture was the first stage, the most realistic. When I got to the last stage, it was all blobby and distorted (or so I thought). When the class critique came, it was stated that I was "too firmly based in reality". Meaning my last piece still looked too much like a ladybug. I don't know about you, but I consider being too firmly based in reality a GOOD thing! (smirk!)
