These are Eastern Screech Owls.

The last acrylic painting I'd done before this one was in 2002. Everything inbetween has been digital. When I realized this, I made myself do something on a real canvas, just to see if I still "got it".

It's a little sloppy - for me, that is, but over all, not bad. My favorite part is the bark on the tree, actually.
