This edition of BWaFAN is what I like to call
my super helpful "Gee, how'd ya do/get/find/acquire
that neat thing?".
Sort of a FAQ of sorts. Below that is a HUGE
listing of faboo web sites I have bookmarked and
I'm sharing with you, my highly worshipped subscriber.
I get lots of requests for many different aspects
of my web site and artwork, so here I hope to
address most of the commonly asked questions.
It'll mostly be geared towards artists, web designers/masters
and writers, so I ask the rest of you to forgive
the shameless pandering toward my fellow creative
brethren.

Section One: FAQ
Q. "How and where do you get your prints
made for you artwork?"
A. I use a company called Photocraft. They make
enlarged photos of artwork specifically geared
for artists. Their number is 1-888-278-3686 FAX:
1-208-762-2254
Request an information packet from them. They
currently do not have a web site, so you'll have
to call or fax them.
They allow you to purchase minimum orders of
10 if you like, instead of 1000 all at once. The
paper is much more durable than normal poster
prints.
What I do is have a local professional photographer
photograph my art. I have a 4x5 negative and print
made. Then I send that to Photocraft. It's much
better than sending the original art through the
mail.
Q. "How do you get your artwork to look
so real?"
A. Lots n' lots n' lots of references from books
and magazines and lots n' lots n' lots of practice.
Their ain't no other way to get good.
Q. "How do you get your clothing to look
good like that?"
A. I have a great reference book called Dynamic
Drapery and Wrinkles by Burne Hogarth.
