The Order of Bast
The Sisterhood
The Sisterhood is a secretive Order of Bast that
have many outposts all over the world. The largest
of which still resides in Egypt. Females are the
only ones who can learn the spells and enchantments
of the Mythos and the occult. Most spells involve
healing and protection via use of sex magics.
The Sisterhood uses men they call Drones in their
sexual rituals. These men are usually lonely dilettantes
and are quite wealthy. They are never taught the
enchantments, but are always glad to lend a hand!
The Sisterhood slowly drains their POW over the
course of many years. This keeps the Sisterhood
in good supply of magical energies. Many Drones
die at the age of 40-50 from exhaustion. Many
priestess' live to 100-150, but never look older
than 40. Drones also contribute moneys to the
Sisterhood as well, bringing a new meaning the
term 'Cat House'. The Sons of Bast are never drained
of POW nor do they contribute money. The Sisterhood
supports of the Sons of Bast.
The PC in the Order
A player who wishes to roll up a member of the
Order starts out with no spells and perhaps very
little Mythos knowledge (no more than 10%). He
or she will have to read the Book of the Dead
and other Bast scripture which will give the player
this newly acquired Mythos knowledge. If the player
is female and survives her first year of adventuring,
she will have acquired the four basic spells outlined
in the Skills section.
If he is male and survives his first year of adventuring,
he will have acquired the basic skills needed
to be a Son of Bast, PLUS three of the four spells
as outlined in the Skills
section. If after the PC has learned the basics
and lived to tell the tale, he or she can then
advance to the more intricate skills (if he is
male) and knowledge (if she is female) offered
by the Order.
My Character is
male, take me to The Sons of Bast.
To serve Bast, to learn the knowledge of the
Ancients, to defeat the Old Ones and their minions.
I. To serve Bast: Believe in Her. Honor Her.
Cherish all felines (children of Bast). Enjoy
life to it's fullest without harming others.
Revel in Her offerings. Bask in Her teachings.
II. To Learn the Knowledge of the Ancients:
Learn the Enchantments of Bast (spells). Perform
the ancient rites of Bast in Her Holy temple
with lust and carefree abandon. Study the old
writings of the scholars and priestess' before
them.
III. Defeat the Old Ones: Hunt down and destroy
all those who would plot and scheme with the
Old Ones. Kill their servitors and extinguish
their human followers. Prevent the plague of
their knowledge from spreading to an ignorant
world. Forever thwart the return of the Old
Ones.
Doctrine
The Sisterhood is the mind and soul of Bast.
They emulate the life of the Cat. Carefree and
a taste for worldly comforts and pleasures. They
perform sexual rituals and rites with the Drones
and the sometimes The Sons of Bast. They have
knowledge in the ways of magical healing of the
mind, body and spirit. They are usually very beautiful,
very smart and very cunning. They exhume the very
essence of the Cat.
They are also sworn enemies with Nyarlothotep
and the Outer Gods he represents. They do all
in their power to thwart their plans and prevent
the return of the Old Ones.
1. Never betray the Sisterhood for your entire
natural life. Failure to adhere to this holy
commandment is death.
2. Never betray a fellow Brothers of Bast for
your entire natural life. Failure to adhere
to this holy commandment is death.
3. Never aid or join the ranks of the Old Ones.
Failure to adhere to this holy commandment is
death.
4. Never intentionally harm a Child of Bast
(all felines). Failure to adhere to this holy
commandment is same or equal harm.
5. Do all in your power to stop, thwart and/or
destroy the Old Ones and their servants. Failure
to adhere to this holy commandment is severance.
6. Command and show the utmost respect for
Bast, Her Sisters and Children. Failure to adhere
to this holy commandment is severance.
7. You will not refuse to indulge in the pleasures
of the world as offered by Bast and Her Sisters.
Failure to adhere to this holy commandment is
severance.
Year round training of the mind, body and spirit.
She shall not want for worldly pleasures, food,
shelter, clothing and protection.
1. Mind: She will learn skills and spells needed
to defeat the Minions of the Old Ones. She will
have some access to Mythos and Occult schooling.
She can study any classical field of his choosing
amongst the Arts and/or Sciences.
2. Body: She will condition his body to be
strong and agile. She will learn to enhance
and use all of her senses. She will be given
the privilege of the ancient arts of Kama Sutra
and other pleasures of the flesh to fulfill
her sexual desires.
3. Spirit: She will learn to meditate and pray
to Bast to fill her soul with the strength of
the Lion. Her will will be strong. She will
celebrate life and the gifts of Bast. She will
be confident, secure and powerful against the
forces of the Old Ones. The truly dedicated
shall be rewarded by Bast with the indulgence
of her dreams or fantasies.
Final Note: A priestess may leave the Sisterhood
if she so desires at any time, but Commandments
1 through 4 must be with her to her dying day.
She may return if she so wishes, but all rules
and doctrine must still be followed.
The
Sons of Bast
 The
Sons of Bast are a crack military group of all
male Bast worshipers, hell bent on killing Mythos
creatures and cultists.They receive special training
financed by the Sisterhood and the Drones. They
do not allowed to learn spells other than the
basic ones outlined in the Skills and Game Terms
section. The Sisterhood provides them with everything
they need, much like being in the Army full time.
Generally a team of "Bast's Bastard's"
(cute little nickname) goes out hunting the Mythos
when something flares up, accompanied by one priestess
with knowledge of several helpful spells.
To serve Bast, to protect the Sisterhood, to
defeat the Old Ones and their minions.

foreseeable harm to the Women (priestess') and
Children (felines) of Bast. Deliver righteous

Protect Bast's sacred and holy grounds, such
as temples, properties and homes.
III. Defeat the Old Ones: Hunt down and destroy
all those who would plot and scheme with the
Old Ones. Kill their servitors and extinguish
their human followers. Prevent the plague of
their knowledge from spreading to an ignorant
world. Forever thwart the return of the Old
Ones.
Doctrine
The Sons of Bast are the deadly claws of Bast.
He is the Hunter. The Slayer. The Protector. He
will hunt down the Minions of the Old Ones. His
keen senses will find them. He will launch a fierce
attack upon them. He will tear the flesh of their
Servants. They will rip the belly open of followers
of the Old Ones and their lands shall be soaked
with blood. He will provide the pleasure of the
hunt and the thrill of the kill unto Her.
The Sons of Bast will protect the Women and Children
of Bast. He is Strong and he is Loyal. He will
protect them from bodily harm. He will guard them
from the terrors that ravage this earth and beyond.
He shall deliver swift and deadly punishment to
all those who do harm to them.
Bast loves her Children and Her Sons are no exception.
With faithful service, She will reward him generously.
She will lavish Her affections upon him with a
warm and soft body, sweet caresses and exquisite
pleasures of the mind, body and soul. However,
it is the unwise and ambitious man who rejects
his gifts, scorns his duties, longs for what he
cannot reach and betrays his Great Provider. Such
actions are swiftly punished and can result in
severance from the Sisterhood- or even death.
Bast will not tolerate betrayal, for She remembers
well the deadly Serpent and delivered unto Him
a violent death.
Commandments
1. A Son of Bast may never betray the Sisterhood

of the Lion. His spirit shall be forceful and
his will, strong. He will celebrate life and
the gifts of Bast. He will be confident, secure
and powerful against the forces of the Old Ones.
The truly dedicated shall be rewarded by Bast
with the indulgence of his dreams or fantasies.
Final Note: A Son of Bast may leave the Sisterhood

Restrictions
1. A Son of Bast may never hold his own job
or career while in service.
2. A Son of Bast may never get married or keep
a special lover while in service.
3. A Son of Bast may never become a priest.
4. A Son of Bast has restricted knowledge of
Enchantments of Bast (spells).
5 A Son of Bast must follow the orders of the
Priestess and the Matron (second in command).
6. A Son of Bast is not allowed to partake
in certain Rituals of Bast.
7. A Son of Bast is sworn to secrecy about
the Sisterhood, his job and his abilities.
